Glen is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and has been counseling youth and families since 2015. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Texas State University in 2015 and a Master’s Degree in Licensed Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University in 2023. He has worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer and as a case manager with adolescents, adults, and families with Pecan Valley MHMR.

Glen believes that a trusting, safe, and genuine relationship with clients is most important to the counseling process. He feels that all clients have inherent strengths and are the experts when it comes to knowing themselves. Glen has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families. He believes clients have the tools to reach their goals but can sometimes be challenged on “how” to reach them. Glen strives to help clients discover ways to be at their best throughout their journey in counseling.

Glen utilizes techniques such as solution focused therapy, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), psychoeducation, choice therapy, and more. By using an eclectic approach, Glen is able to meet all clients where they are to help create change in their lives that make an impact.

When Glen is not working with clients, he’s likely spending time outdoors, either fishing or golfing. He enjoys spending time with his friends, parents, older brother, and newborn nephew. He also likes running, hiking, and watching new movies during downtime. Glen is an Enneagram 3w2, so he enjoys leading and helping everyone he meets!
