Mandy Melton, LPC, CCPT

Mandy is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and started her counseling career in 2007. Although she has provided counseling services and support for over 15 years, she has been in education in various roles for 20 years. In 2000, she received her Bachelor’s in Counseling with a minor in English from Texas A&M-Commerce. In 2007 she earned her Master’s in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University.

Over the years, Mandy has worked in schools and organizations where she provided counseling services and support to clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, abuse, eating disorders, adoption challenges, divorce, career burnout, trauma, self-esteem struggles, and various women’s issues.  In her approach, Mandy is eclectic and holistic, offering what fits best for the client and their experiences.  Therapy approaches like solution focused, acceptance and commitment, and narrative are just a few of the ways Mandy helps support clients. More than anything else, she is always looking to meet the client where they are at and provide grace, understanding, hope, and practical tools for the journey.

When Mandy is not seeing clients, she embraces every moment with her husband of 20 years and her 2 and 7 year old girls. In her spare time, she enjoys meditation/prayer, kickboxing, dancing with her girls, and writing.
